The hotel offered a great service storing our rented bikes overnight and has a nice outside area to sit in. The rooms are spacious with adjustable comfortable beds, rooms are equipped with a fridge and sink, very handy! The hotel's temperature control was working well. Excellent continental breakfast with various options. The hotel location is feasible and just a short walk from the town centre.
The hotel is a bit out of the way from any nearby restaurants, which was inconvenient when it was raining or we were just too tired to venture far. No bathtub in rooms, just a shower.

You won't be diappointed. This is a nice place. I would stay there again just like I would stay at a nice 4 or 5 star hotel again. Yadayadayada... Nicely decorated, nice atmosphere, etc. The countryside is amazing if you take the train from Amsterdam to Alkmaar.

Nice and welcoming. the rooms were spacious and well-equipped. the staff was helpful. It was great having options for food just down the street.
The location wasn't ideal, but it was manageable. the lack of a shelf in the bathroom made it difficult to store toiletries.

It would have been even better if there were more dining options available within the hotel.

It is certainly part of 4 stars standard hotels. It has a free parking
The hotel is close but not in the old down town of Alkmaar. However The parking rate in Nederland is always high, about 3Euro/hour outside of the Amsterdam

I have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times and it never disappoints. This stay, unfortunately, was for only one night, we dined at the hotel; the food was excellent. Breakfast is pretty good too, the staff are always helpful and polite and the hotel itself very clean and well designed (excellent access for wheelchairs for example). The room air-conditioning is effective and quiet and the bed very comfortable.
I was unable to access the free wireless and one other colleague had the same problem, although it was fine for a third colleague.
